About Keiway

Kenya is poised to become one of the region's emerging mining, oil & gas economies in the region with recent discoveries in minerals and oil and gas deposits in various parts in Kenya. Over the last decade, the amount of minerals extracted and exploited has been increasing, and Keiway Mining & Technology College is proud to bring industry stakeholders from the country and around the globe together to introduce, inform and educate Kenyan youth in mining, oil & gas, and related support industries.

What to expect...

Mining, oil and gas deals with aspects of detection, extraction, transportation and processing of natural resources such as minerals, metals, petroleum and fossil fuels. It is a multidisciplinary field that involves general knowledge from other disciplines including information technology, geology, chemistry, environmental sciences, mechanical engineering, project and risk management, business management, Human Resource Management (HRM), Supply chain management, law and international regulations.

At the college, you will be exposed to an accelerated learning environment that takes place using various teaching and learning modes. You will graduate with a deeper appreciation of the Extractive sector, especially the new emerging technologies, products and resources in use around the world today.

Distance Learning..

Distance or online learning is a mode of study that allows students to study most or all of a course without attending all their classes in-person and on-campus. Our distance learning programs include online training system and tools to produce a virtual classroom. It is certain that the student saves expenses related to accommodation and transportation. Students can maintain their current living expenses making distance learning a great solution for people that already have a job.

Whether a new student just graduating from high school or a seasoned veteran interested in the mining, oil & gas industry, there is something to learn from our energetic mining, technology and business faculty.
